NeXtScale System M5 Water Cool Technology Video Walk-through

May 19, 2015
The NeXtScale Water Cool Technology (WCT) system is the next generation of dense computing. It is an open, flexible, and simple data center solution for users of technical computing, grid deployments, analytics workloads, and large-scale cloud and virtualization infrastructures. The solution is designed to operate by using warm water, up to 45°C (113°F). Chillers are not needed for most customers, meaning even greater savings and a lower total cost of ownership (TCO). In this video David Watts, Duncan Furniss and Mark Steinke take you through the major elements of the solution: the water subsystem, the chassis and the compute nodes. For more information see the Lenovo Press Product Guide “NeXtScale System M5 with Water Cool Technology” available at http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/tips1241.html?Open Video production by Joe Goldston and Keith Blatz.
